Job summary

Ideal candidate has 8+ years of HVAC/R experience, strong BAS knowledge, and a proven ability to collaborate with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in HVAC/R maintenance and repair, with focus on commercial/industrial refrigeration.
• Proven experience with Building Automation Systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Mentor and guide junior staff, with a commitment to learning.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex HVAC/R issues.
• Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations for HVAC/R.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team.
• HVAC/R certification or equivalent qualification.
• Physical fitness for heavy equipment and on-call duties.
• Availability to work on-call and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on HVAC/R systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC/R equipment and systems, and propose solutions.
• Install and configure Building Automation Systems to optimize energy efficiency and performance.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance for HVAC/R systems.
• Collaborate with engineering to design and implement new HVAC/R systems and modifications.
• Mentor junior staff and promote continuous learning.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance, inspection, and repair work.
• Stay updated with latest HVAC/R technologies and apply them to improve systems.
