Jobot in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a permanent Senior HVAC/R Technician to join our engineering team. The role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC/R systems and Building Automation Systems to improve energy efficiency and system performance.

The ideal candidate has extensive HVAC/R experience with refrigeration, strong BAS knowledge, and a track record of mentoring junior staff while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of HVAC/R maintenance and repair experience.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and promote learning.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations for HVAC/R.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• HVAC/R certification or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with HVAC/R equipment and systems, and recommending suitable solutions.
• Installing and configuring Building Automation Systems to optimize energy efficiency and system performance.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations for HVAC/R systems and equipment.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to design and implement new HVAC/R systems and modifications.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Keeping accurate records of all maintenance, inspection, and repair work for future reference.
• Staying current with the latest HVAC/R technologies and industry trends, and applying this knowledge to improve our systems and processes.
