Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems is seeking a Senior Project Manager to develop and maintain client relationships, oversee HVAC/project sales, and manage field labor coordination with field leadership. The role requires judgment and discretion in representing the company and a high level of commitment.

The position involves end-to-end project management, including concept engineering, estimates, proposals, and contract execution, with oversight of sales, procurement, and delivery across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in estimating, design and/or management of HVAC projects from $50,000 to $100+ million.
• Ability to operate independently and autonomously to facilitate goals.
• Demonstrate a high sense of integrity.
• Demonstrated experience/ability to develop new business.
• Strong interpersonal and project management abilities with organizational skills.
• Maintain a community presence in industry or community organizations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Experience with Business Systems Software (JDE, IFS, BidTracer, FastEst, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Single-source responsibility to ACCO and the customer for project execution and communications.
• Manage all project management functions to promote and finalize sales including concept engineering, estimates, proposals, and meetings.
• Oversee contracts including sales, estimating, procurement, and execution.
• Coordinate field labor and installation sequencing between customer and ACCO leadership.
• Forecast budgets and control costs within agreed-upon limits; prepare and issue key documents.
• Provide letters, contracts, change orders, and strategies for good business procedures and legal protection.
• Lead client meetings and develop contracts to finalize sales; maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate internal teams across Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction and Service.
• Mentor staff, participate in recruiting/training sales personnel, and support department growth.
• Perform other duties as directed by upper management.
