Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems is seeking a Project Manager, Mission Critical to lead large HVAC project initiatives ranging from $80M to $500M, often at remote sites. The role emphasizes client speed-to-market and building lasting relationships for follow-up opportunities.

You will coordinate across Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service while managing contracts from concept through completion. A strong drive for results and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in engineering or construction management field.
• 5+ years of estimating, design, and/or management of HVAC projects from $20M to $500M+.
• Valid Class C driver’s license and ability to drive a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the single point of contact for ACCO and the customer throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manages the complete contract lifecycle from concept engineering, estimating, and proposals to procurement, execution, and completion.
• Coordinates internal staff across Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Construction, and Service.
• Oversees project finances with cost tracking, billing, forecasting, and expense control.
• Directs field labor coordination and installation sequencing between customer and ACCO leadership.
• Builds strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal leadership.
• Schedules and leads client reviews, kickoffs, and internal meetings.
• Manages documentation including letters, proposals, memos, contracts, and change orders.
• Mentors staff and sales team to drive department growth.
• Participates in special studies and company initiatives to advance technical capabilities.
