Job summary

Thermosystems in Elkhart, IN, part of the Daikin group, seeks a Project Manager to oversee a broad range of mechanical projects from estimating to design reviews and scheduling.

You will coordinate kickoff and progress meetings, manage subcontractors and vendors, and serve as a primary liaison with clients and internal teams; a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years’ HVAC project experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing projects.
• Previous experience working in HVAC is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all managerial and administrative aspects of a wide range of mechanical processes including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review, coordination, and more.
• Coordinate project kick-off meetings, progress meetings, and close out activities.
• Gather project requirements directly from clients and facilitate preparation of working drawings.
• Work both independently and alongside management to prepare/submit project proposals.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, vendors, engineers, and internal teams.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure project milestones are met.

Job Responsibilities:

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $150,00 in IN. The range displayedrepresentsthe pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
