Job summary

Henderson Group seeks a Senior HVAC Product Development Engineer to lead design, optimization, and sustaining engineering of residential and commercial HVAC products. You will manage end-to-end NPD projects, drive agency compliance, and provide cross-functional expertise to manufacturing, sales, quality, and supply chain teams.

Required: 10+ years in product design and project engineering, Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred), and strong DFSS/DFMA knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; MS preferred.
• 10+ years of product design and project engineering experience.
• Proven track record releasing at least two product families.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, optimization, and sustaining engineering of HVAC systems.
• Manage NPD projects, track timelines, costs, and KPIs.
• Interface with regulatory agencies for compliance and testing.
• Provide guidance to manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.
• Prepare BOMs, drawings, PCNs, and present designs to stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers and apply DFSS/DFMA principles.
