Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning and Startup Engineer for the New Albany, Ohio project. You will aid in planning, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems in a semiconductor manufacturing facility, ensuring safety and on-schedule execution.

The role requires collaboration with engineering, construction, vendors, and operations to verify systems meet requirements and readiness for handover to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field; 0–1 year or 4–5 years experience in mission critical facilities.
• Ability to read P&ID and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including AHUs, exhaust, pumps, fans, heat exchangers, boilers, chillers, valves and piping.

Responsabilités

• Develop Mechanical Commissioning Plans and Procedures.
• Verify equipment alignment, lubrication, and preservation.
• Coordinate system turnover from Construction to Commissioning.
• Prepare MCCs, STOs and turnover documentation.
• Interface with vendors and contractors to resolve issues.
• Support safety and compliance during commissioning.
