Job summary

Specialty Air Conditioning is seeking an LG VRF Technician to startup, service, install, and maintain commercial VRF systems in the Springfield, MO area. You will troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues, diagnose problems from diagrams, and ensure safe, compliant operation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial VRF experience required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work on rooftops.
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Start-up, service, install and maintain commercial HVAC VRF systems (Daikin, LG, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Carrier).
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on VRF systems and commercial rooftops.
• Perform system retrofits, start‑ups, and commissioning.
• Diagnose improper installations and optimize performance.
• Use wiring diagrams and blueprints to perform work accurately.
• Maintain safety standards and meet code requirements.
• Communicate clearly with clients and office team; keep detailed service documentation.
