LG Electronics, Alpharetta, GA, seeks a Data Center Chiller Field Engineer to monitor field products, identify issues, and support aftermarket operations and training teams. You will investigate field quality, develop bulletins, and coordinate with HQ Korea to resolve problems.

The role requires extensive HVAC experience, VRF knowledge, and strong collaboration across teams to drive quality improvements and customer satisfaction.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
• 10+ years of technical field experience in HVAC on commercial products.
• 5+ years of VRF experience highly preferred.
• Commercial HVAC service experience in troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).
• Knowledge in managing quality issues.
• Work planning skills including identifying action items.
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of quality management.
• Proactive work attitude.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to field locations to track and investigate product quality, up to 50% travel.
• Coordinate with HQ Korea factory engineering and Quality engineering on data for field issues.
• Develop technical bulletins on product quality.
• Provide monthly analysis of quality claims to management.
• Assist management in analyzing warranty data to identify above-average warranty claim patterns.
• Review HQ Korea technical documents to improve US quality knowledge.
• Interact with factory quality engineers to maintain product quality.
• Provide technical troubleshooting process improvements and knowledge sharing to LG teams.
• Perform software and hardware service updates to equipment in inventory or field.
