LG Electronics USA is seeking a Data Center Chiller Field Engineer for the Alpharetta, GA area to monitor field products, support aftermarket operations, and guide training teams with technical expertise.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in HVAC field service on commercial equipment and 5+ years VRF experience, with strong communication and teamwork skills. Travel up to 50% and collaboration with HQ Korea are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
• 10+ years of technical field experience working in the HVAC industry on commercial products.
• 5+ years of VRF experience highly preferred.
• Commercial Applied HVAC equipment service experience in all aspects of troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook).
• Knowledge in managing quality issues.
• Skills of work planning including identifying action items.
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of quality management.
• Proactive work attitude.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to field locations to track and investigate products quality; up to 50% travel.
• Coordinate with HQ Korea factory and Quality engineering for data-driven issue resolution.
• Develop technical bulletins on product quality and provide monthly quality analysis.
• Provide direct technical guidance via phone and email to facilitate timely resolution of system issues.
• Lead team coordination on escalated field technical issues and training support.
