Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Equipment Complex Projects Engineer to lead large, complex HVAC initiatives for clients across the U.S. You will collaborate with sales, PM, and engineering teams to ensure on-time, within-scope project execution.

The role emphasizes managing project scope, schedule, and cost while ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with contract requirements. A Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and strong PM skills are required, with AutoCAD experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years operations or mechanical engineering experience.
• Proven project management skills.
• Knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HVAC equipment project scope and schedule.
• Coordinate with sales, PM, and engineering teams for on-time delivery.
• Develop engineered equipment submittals in line with drawings and specs.
• Manage project P&L and customer satisfaction for assigned projects.
• Oversee turnover between sales, orders, and installation.
• Coordinate with logistics for material delivery and tracking.
• Prepare cost estimates and assist in proposals and change orders.
• Ensure contract compliance and proper documentation.
