Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior HVAC Engineer with extensive experience in dust collection to deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for our Advanced Manufacturing clients. You will lead the Building Mechanical team on projects, perform field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, and prepare construction design packages.

You will be responsible for developing design criteria, performing calculations, and delivering final design documents while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years of experience designing HVAC systems with dust collection projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards for HVAC design.
• Ability to lead a building mechanical team and collaborate remotely with other disciplines.
• Adaptability to fast-paced project environments and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design HVAC systems for industrial clients.
• Lead development of dust collection systems and DHAs.
• Develop design criteria for HVAC systems including clean rooms and climate control.
• Prepare conceptual and final design documents, P&IDs, and layouts.
• Mentor less experienced staff on project tasks.
