Job summary

Jacobs seeks a high-energy Senior HVAC Engineer specializing in dust collection to lead our Building Mechanical team on industrial and manufacturing projects. You will perform field investigations, interface with clients and vendors, size equipment, and prepare construction design packages.

With a PE license and 15+ years in HVAC design, you will direct design criteria, DHAs guidance, and dust collection strategies while collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years of HVAC system design experience, including dust collection projects.
• PE license required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to lead a building mechanical team and collaborate remotely.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Building Mechanical team on projects and perform design calculations.
• Develop HVAC design basis, specifications, and construction documents.
• Size and select equipment for HVAC and dust collection systems.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure schedule and technical quality.
