Jacobs is seeking a Senior HVAC Engineer specializing in dust collection for industrial applications. You will lead our Building Mechanical team, perform field investigations, size equipment, and develop construction design packages.

You will guide design criteria, calculations, and final documents for systems such as chilled water and cooling water, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with other disciplines across projects.

Competenze

• Fifteen (15) years’ experience designing HVAC systems, including dust collection projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards for HVAC design.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to lead a building mechanical team and collaborate remotely with other disciplines.

Mansioni

• Layout and design HVAC systems for industrial clients.
• Lead development of dust collection systems and advise on DHAs and combustible dust hazards.
• Develop design criteria for HVAC systems including comfort, humidity, and cleanroom needs.
• Create conceptual and final design documents, including piping layouts and P&IDs.
• Prepare design basis, calculations, and specifications.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
