Jacobs is seeking a Senior HVAC Engineer to lead our Building Mechanical team on industrial projects, with a focus on dust collection systems. You will design HVAC layouts, develop specifications, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with clients and vendors.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in HVAC design, a PE license, and strong codes knowledge. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, and Trane Trace is preferred in a hybrid US-wide environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience in HVAC design with several dust collection projects.
• PE License is required.
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
• Adaptability to fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to lead a building mechanical team and collaborate remotely.

Responsabilités

• Layout and design HVAC systems for industrial clients.
• Lead development of dust collection systems and DHAs.
• Develop design criteria for HVAC systems including temperature/humidity control and clean room requirements.
• Develop conceptual and final design documents including P&IDs and equipment specs.
• Layout of ductwork based on AF&ID and final construction documents.
• Mentor less experienced staff.
