Job summary

Austin Industries is seeking a Document Control Specialist to manage HVAC documentation and act as a system administrator across document management tools. The role requires self-motivation, strong judgment, and the ability to work with engineering teams and Samsung stakeholders.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of document control experience, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with Confluence. Autodesk AutoCAD proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in administration and document control.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong experience with Atlassian Confluence.
• Autodesk AutoCAD proficiency preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and align HVAC documentation so information is accurate, updated, and accessible to internal HVAC team members and Samsung stakeholders.
• Act as a system administrator to document and align information in multiple information management tools (document management system, Confluence, and construction project management systems).
• Support management of project drawings and tracking of P&IDs.
• Ensure all required technical documents are up to date and stored uniformly in information management tools.
• Support uploading and downloading information to/from the construction project management system for startup and commissioning handoff.
• Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information.
