Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Mechanical HVAC Designer to join our Building Mechanical team in the Advanced Manufacturing Group. You will deliver innovative HVAC design solutions for heavy industrial clients, work with engineers and designers on field investigations, equipment sizing, and construction packages.

Bring extensive HVAC design experience, proficiency in Revit, and the ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams. We offer a hybrid work model with opportunities across U.S.

Qualifications

• At least ten (10) years’ experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to the design of HVAC systems.
• Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with the project team remotely.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of HVAC systems.
• Development of conceptual design and preliminary design documents, including sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), P&IDs, and general arrangements.
• Development of final construction documents for HVAC systems (chilled water, cooling water, etc.).
• Coordination with other disciplines.
