Job summary

LONG Building Technologies is seeking a Senior Controls Technician in Anchorage to support customers by troubleshooting and programming temperature control systems per project specs. You will install, service, and train others on control sequences while upholding LONG standards and best practices.

You will guide junior technicians, perform site duties, and provide solutions for complex commissioning tasks, with frequent travel to job sites as required.

Qualifications

• 2 years tech school and 3 years temperature control system start-up, checkout, and service experience.
• Certifications in KMC, Distech, Tridium/Honeywell, and other equivalent systems.
• Ability to legally drive a company vehicle.
• Expert programming and troubleshooting skills with KMC, Distech, Tridium/Honeywell, and other equivalent systems.
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving in control systems.

Responsibilities

• Program databases for all supported systems to meet specified sequences of operation.
• Calibrate and check-out control systems to ensure commissioning obligations are met.
• Create control graphics and provide GUIs per LONG standards.
• Instruct customer personnel on operation and maintenance of systems.
