Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Software Engineer to lead master systems integration of building management systems (BMS), build control databases, and create user interfaces based on project specifications and sales proposals. The role includes on-site and remote support for installers and customers, as well as field startup and system commissioning.

You will work on programming control applications, coordinate with contractors, and ensure proper operation per design documents while contributing to system

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience; combination of experience and education considered.
• Understanding of procedures and standards to solve moderately complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply judgment.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Must possess knowledge in at least four of: Building Management Systems, Niagara (Required), DistechControls, BACnet, Modbus, HVACControls, IT Networking, Commissioning, Troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations, and panel layouts.
• Program control applications using various software tools.
• Site startup, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Verify operation per project specs, sales proposal, and design docs.
• Develop system graphics displays per specs or proposals.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Perform advanced system evaluation and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot escalated issues and implement corrective actions.
• Document resolutions and report findings to the Project team.
