CBRE is seeking a Building Automation Engineer to perform master systems integration of BMS, build control databases, and create user interfaces per project specs. The role includes on-site and remote support, system commissioning, and software installation for large enterprise clients globally.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future. Travel up to 50% is expected, with overnight trips.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software preferred with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Core knowledge in Building Management Systems, Niagara, Distech Controls, BACnet/Modbus, HVAC Controls, IT Networking, Commissioning, Troubleshooting.

Responsabilités

• Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
• Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
• Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
• Confirm proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal, and design documentation.
• Approve and develop system graphic displays according to project specifications or sales proposals.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
• Document problem resolution and report findings to the Project team for customer follow-up.
• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
