Job summary

CBRE Building Automation Engineer role focuses on Master Systems Integration of BMS, programming, commissioning, and creating operator interfaces. You will support installers and customers on site and remotely, and help ensure projects meet specifications and timelines.

We seek 2–5 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software, and working knowledge of Niagara, Distech, BACnet, IT networking, and commissioning procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical or Software preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency with building management systems and common BACnet/Modbus protocols.
Willingness to travel up to 50% annually.

Responsibilities

Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts.
Perform programming of control applications using various software tools.
Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications.
Confirm proper operation according to project specifications and designs.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers.
Document problem resolution and report findings to the Project team.
