Job summary

ENFRA is seeking an experienced HVAC Controls Specialist III to join the Technical Services team in Charlotte, NC. You will evaluate, program, optimize, and test building systems both on-site and remotely, delivering energy-efficient retro-commissioning and new construction commissioning outcomes.

This role requires strong communication, problem-solving and the ability to work with minimal direction. You will mentor TS staff, document findings with CxAlloy, and collaborate with facilities,

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in HVAC, Energy Management, Building Automation or related field.
• 10+ years of commissioning or related field experience with mechanical/electrical systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Attention to safety.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work with minimal information and self-direction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Competency with cloud-based commissioning software platforms (CxAlloy).

Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys, documentation reviews, and due diligence to determine facility conditions.
• Develop energy conservation measures and document findings.
• Utilize CxAlloy to document commissioning scopes.
• Oversee functional performance tests and supervise trade partners on site.
• Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure proper documentation and archiving.
