Job summary

ENFRA is seeking an HVAC Controls Specialist III to join the Technical Services team in the Charlotte area. The role focuses on evaluating, programming, optimizing, and testing building systems both on-site and remotely, with a solutions-based approach to RCx and Cx scopes.

The position requires a strong technical background in building automation, plus 10+ years in commissioning or related fields. Travel up to 60% is expected across project sites and offices.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in HVAC or related field.
• +10 years of commissioning or related field experience with building systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and safety awareness.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with cloud-based commissioning software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform site surveys and document facility conditions.
• Review design and submittals for RCx and Cx scopes.
• Develop and execute functional performance tests in CxAlloy.
• Coordinate with construction, facilities and trades partners.
• Generate technical reports and project observations for delivery teams.
• Troubleshoot and optimize building system programming for energy conservation.
• Oversee on-site supervision of trade partners and sub consultants.
• Archive project knowledge in ENFRA storage systems.
• Travel to job sites to support commissioning activities.
