Job summary

Trane Technologies, a world leader in climate solutions, seeks a Commercial HVAC/Chiller Technician. You will repair HVAC/chiller equipment ranging from 50 Ton to 4000 Ton DX units at customer sites, using refrigeration theory, control systems and schematics.

On-site service, preventative maintenance, testing, commissioning and start-up are core duties. Requires High School Diploma or equivalent, 5+ years HVAC experience, EPA Universal Certification, valid drivers license, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or technical school certificate.
• 5+ years HVAC experience; technical school or formal training preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and assembling equipment ranging from 50 Ton to 4000 Ton chillers and DX units.
• Identify, examine, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations.
• Daily communication to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Use advanced software and tools, following blueprints or engineering specs, to diagnose and repair units.
• Maintain safety standards and accountability for company assets.
• Work shifts, overtime, and on-call as required.
