Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Commercial HVAC/Chiller Technician to repair and service large-scale chillers and DX units at customer sites. You will diagnose equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure safe, reliable operation of HVAC systems in a field-based setting.

You will leverage refrigeration theory, control systems, and schematics, while communicating clearly with customers and teammates. A valid license and EPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC/Chillers experience is preferred with technical schooling or training.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration theory, control systems and schematics is expected.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and handheld devices for field reporting.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair HVAC/Chiller equipment, 50 Ton to 4000 Ton capacities.
• Diagnose equipment and systems at customer sites and perform necessary repairs.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance and service requests.
• Start up, commissioning and testing of chillers and DX units.
• Maintain safety standards and secure company assets at client locations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members on-site.
