Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Commercial HVAC/Chiller Technician to service and repair equipment on customer sites across the United States. You will diagnose, test, and commission chillers from 50 Ton to 4000 Ton, performing preventive maintenance and responding to service requests.

The ideal candidate holds a High School Diploma, technical training, 10+ years of HVAC experience, EPA Universal Certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or formal training certification required.
• Typically requires 10+ years of HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver's license for at least 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Service and assemble equipment ranging from 50 Ton to 4000 Ton chillers and DX units.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment on customer sites.
• Communicate daily to confirm requirements for on-site installations and repairs.
• Utilize software and technology along with hand tools to diagnose and repair units.
• Adhere to safety standards and manage company assets responsibly.
• Work flexible shifts, overtime, and on-call as required.
