Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Chiller Technician to perform on-site repairs and maintenance of large-scale HVAC chillers at customer facilities in the Brea, CA area. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, commissioning, and start-up of 50 ton to 1000 ton chillers, with emphasis on safety and quality service.

The ideal candidate has extensive HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a strong ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• EPA Certification is required.
• 10+ years of HVAC experience preferred.
• On-site work at customer locations; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain 50 ton DX units and 50–1000 ton chillers on customer sites.
• Perform end-to-end testing, commissioning, and start-up of chillers and HVAC equipment.
• Represent the company as primary on-site contact and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to confirm on-site installation/repair requirements and material needs.
• Promote safety and mentor teammates; willingness to overtime as needed.
