Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Field-based Chiller Technician to service a defined market, including healthcare facilities, education campuses, arenas, and office complexes. You will repair chillers 50 tons and up, perform preventative maintenance, and handle on-site testing and commissioning at customer locations.

The role emphasizes safety, on-site problem solving, and collaboration with customers and project teams.

Qualifications

• Chiller repair and troubleshooting experience is essential.
• Servicing and assembling chiller equipment, ranging from 50 Tons and up.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean record in last 3 years.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and handheld devices (smartphone/tablet).

Responsibilities

• Repair and service chiller equipment on-site at various facilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections for chillers.
• Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customer to understand on-site requirements.
• Test, start up and commission chillers; handle on-site adjustments as needed.
• Ability to work overtime and occasional overnight stays.
