Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an Advanced Field Service Engineer based in Connecticut to support HVAC control systems and BAS across the region. You will lead onsite installations, diagnose complex issues, and mentor junior technicians while ensuring compliance with Honeywell standards.

Responsibilities include programming Honeywell platforms (Spyder, WEBs, EBI, Niagara), conducting system startups, and coordinating with project managers and customers to meet schedules and performance targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HVAC controls and BAS.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and BAS technologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex HVAC control issues.
• Experience programming/configuring HVAC control systems (DDC).
• Niagara 4 certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Advanced knowledge of Honeywell BAS platforms (Spyder, WEBs, EBI).
• Excellent customer communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite installation, commissioning, and service of Honeywell BAS and HVAC equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on legacy and current BAS controllers and networks (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
• Mentor junior technicians and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely execution.
• Program, configure, and commission Honeywell platforms (Spyder, WEBs, EBI, Niagara).
• Review drawings, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operation for proper integration.
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate with project managers and customers.
