Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Acton, MA is seeking a Lead Field Service HVAC Controls/BAS Technician. You will lead onsite installation, commissioning, and service of BAS systems, directing technicians, and ensuring quality and safety on site.

The role requires deep troubleshooting of HVAC controls, DDC systems, and Niagara-based platforms, with a focus on energy efficiency and system reliability. Hybrid work arrangements apply, reporting to the Service Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC controls and BAS.
• Minimum of 5 years of strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, DDC, and BAS tech.
• Proficiency in advanced troubleshooting of HVAC control and BAS issues.
• Minimum of 5 years programming, configuring, commissioning, and modifying HVAC control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite installation, commissioning, and service of BAS components.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to technicians and subcontractors.
• Troubleshoot complex HVAC control systems (DDC, sensors, actuators, networks).
• Configure and commission Honeywell platforms (Spyder, CIPer, WEBs, EBI, Niagara).
• Interpret drawings and sequences of operation for proper integration.
• Coordinate with project managers and customers to meet schedules.
• Identify energy efficiency and reliability improvements.
