Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Lead Field Service HVAC Controls/BAS Technician to supervise onsite installations, startups, and commissioning of Honeywell BAS/HVAC systems. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC controls and building automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, DDC systems, and BAS technologies.
• Experience programming, configuring, commissioning, and modifying HVAC control systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite installation, commissioning, and service of Honeywell BAS and HVAC systems.
• Serve as technical lead, providing direction and training to technicians and customers.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of HVAC control systems and networks (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
• Program, configure, and commission Honeywell platforms (Spyder, CIPer, WEBs, EBI, Niagara).
• Interpret control drawings and sequences of operation to validate functionality.
• Conduct startups, point-to-point verification, and commissioning per specs.
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to resolve issues and maintain schedules.
• Identify energy efficiency and performance improvements in buildings.
• Mentor junior technicians and document issues and resolutions.
