Job summary

Honeywell Technologies seeks a Sr Field Service HVAC Controls/BAS Technician to support installation, commissioning, and service of BAS and HVAC systems. You will troubleshoot complex controls, program DDC platforms, and ensure site safety and quality while collaborating with customers and teams.

The role requires 100% travel, a Monday–Friday schedule, and on-call duties every 6–8 weeks. A company vehicle, phone, laptop, and tools are provided; work is Hybrid from Acton, MA.

Qualifications

• HVAC controls and BAS experience required.
• Proficient in troubleshooting HVAC control issues.
• Experience programming/configuring DDC controllers/software.
• Willingness to travel 100% and work hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service BAS and HVAC controls onsite.
• Provide technical support with technicians, subcontractors, and customers.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve control issues across VAVs, AHUs, boilers, sensors.
• Program and commission Honeywell platforms and Niagara-based systems.
• Interpret drawings and sequences of operation for proper integration.
• Conduct startups, verification, and performance testing to meet specs.
• Coordinate with project managers to maintain schedules.
• Identify energy efficiency and reliability improvements.
• Ensure documentation, redlines, and as-built drawings are accurate.
