Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead HVAC, mechanical, and automation projects from planning through completion in California. You will manage contracts, budgets, scope, and client relations while directing teams and ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires extensive project management experience in General Trades and HVAC, with a focus on scheduling, cost control, and stakeholder communication. A competitive benefits package accompanies this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred.
• 5 years PM experience in HVAC/plumbing or building management controls.
• 15 years PM experience in General Trades.
• Experience managing projects between $500k and $5M.
• Knowledge of proposals, scopes of work, scheduling and site coordination.
• Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and control all aspects of a project.
• Ability to work with customers for mutually satisfactory solutions.
• Skilled in collaborating with management systems and diverse teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Skilled in organizing and leading groups.
• Capable of working independently or in a team and adapting to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for successful completion of all aspects of the project.
• Prepares monthly forecasts and ensures financial goals are met.
• Manages overall contract operations, scheduling, and client relations.
• Controls project costs and purchasing guidelines to align with budget.
• Supervises staff and coordinates project documentation and records.
• Maintains safety culture and ensures compliance with project standards.
• Provides information to administration for timely processing of records.
