Carrier is seeking an Application Engineer to partner with our sales team, translating customer needs into optimized HVAC equipment configurations for complex projects. You will develop, validate, and refine proposals and technical submittals, ensuring compliance with standards and budgets while supporting field teams across the Midwest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology.
• 5+ years in HVAC application engineering, applied equipment selection, or pre-sales technical support.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.
• MBA or Masters Degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of applied HVAC systems and commercial building applications.
• Experience with water-cooled chillers and custom applied solutions.

Responsabilités

• Develop, validate, and optimize Applied HVAC equipment selection based on project specifications.
• Prepare, review, and approve final technical submittals and quotes.
• Provide technical guidance to sales and support teams on complex projects.
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities with project teams.
• Support product training and regional customer events.
