Job summary

DriSteem Corporation seeks an Inside Sales/Application Engineer to support product applications across sales channels, coordinating with Marketing and Engineering for pricing, submittals, and documentation. You will interact with customers, prepare quotations, and ensure accurate order entry.

The role requires strong HVAC knowledge, communication skills, and a proactive sales mindset to grow profitability and expand vertical markets.

Qualifications

• Preferred bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Management, or skilled trade in a related field.
• Five plus years of related account rep and/or application engineering experience, preferably in HVAC products.
• Prior experience as an Inside Sales Representative, in Engineering, or other technical positions at DRI-STEEM or other related manufacturing companies.
• Operational and technical knowledge of the DRI-STEEM product line is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deep understanding of how DriSteem products are applied in the field and their interaction with HVAC systems.
• Liaison with Marketing on existing and new product offerings and SWOT analysis to improve market position.
• Manage customer orders for pricing accuracy, custom product requests, change orders, submittals, and warranty inquiries; collaborates with engineering and Product Management.
• Respond and resolve all customer concerns.
• Coordinate/communicate internal inside sales activities to ensure teamwork.
• Proficient use of consultative selling to grow profitability and revenue.
• Make recommendations to improve products or expand vertical markets and develop new products.
• Provide product support including information, sizing, pricing, submittals, drawings, budgeting, psychometrics, and documentation.
• Write orders and verify information complies with policies before entry.
• Partner with Marketing and Engineering to provide market feedback.
• Seek ways to improve sales methods and procedures.
• Fulfills sales rep and consulting engineer training as needed.
• Quote accurate prices promptly.
• Maintain positive professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Attend educational workshops and network with professionals.
• Travel as needed (<20%),
• Support ISO 9001 compliance and safety policies.
