Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems and support teammates with technical questions. This role emphasizes customer communication and confidence-building through accurate, clear explanations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in residential HVAC, EPA 608 Type II certification, and strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety and efficiency on job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; HVAC technical schooling preferred.
• EPA 608 (Type II) certification is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential HVAC repair/installation.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train team members on HVAC questions and common field issues.
• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems per specs and standards.
• Perform routine maintenance to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Use testing equipment to verify proper system operation after work.
