Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling is seeking an HVAC Senior Technical Advisor to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems while assisting teammates with technical questions. You will explain issues and solutions to homeowners, ensuring customer satisfaction and confidence in our team’s expertise.

A minimum of 3 years in the field is required. The role emphasizes coaching others, maintaining safety standards, and participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC tech training preferred.
• EPA 608 certification is a plus per field requirements.
• Minimum of 3 years in residential HVAC repair and installation.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train team members on HVAC questions and basic walkthrough procedures.
• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems per manufacturer specs and company standards.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Use testing equipment to verify proper system operation after work is completed.
• Document service findings, parts used, and recommendations in service software.
• Explain issues and options clearly to customers, ensuring satisfaction and confidence in repairs.
