Job summary

Engineering Excellence is hiring a senior HVAC technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems. You will mentor technicians, lead field activities, and participate in audits and jobsite oversight while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires advanced skills in heating, cooling, ventilation and related equipment, along with strong troubleshooting, planning, and communication abilities. Must hold EPA 608 and other safety certifications where required.

Qualifications

• Advanced skills servicing commercial HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation and refrigeration equipment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical/refrigerant/duct systems.
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Trains other technicians and assists with field supervision, audits and planning.
• Performs service calls for commercial HVAC systems under supervision.
• Diagnoses and resolves customer problems in a courteous, timely manner.
• Inspects equipment and performs diagnostics to prevent breakdowns and callbacks.
• Handles parts delivery, paperwork, and status reporting to dispatch.
• Promotes products and services and maintains company vehicle and tool usage.
• Participates in safety programs, conducts quality audits, and supports field leadership.
