Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Lead Transmission Line Engineer to join the Power Delivery & Renewable team in North America. This senior role focuses on hands-on transmission line engineering, design, and studies for utility and developer clients, with direct client engagement and coordination across disciplines.

You will lead projects from 69kV to 500kV, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with NEC, NESC, IEEE standards and Arcadis policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of transmission-line experience (69kV–500kV).
• Proficient with PLS-CADD; knowledge of PLS-POLE or PLS-TOWER is a plus.
• Experience designing HV/EHV foundations, materials, and construction packages.
• Design experience aligned with NEC, NESC, IEEE and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV and EHV transmission line projects from 69kV to 500kV.
• Produce engineering designs, studies, drawings, and procurement packages.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, electrical, telecom, and geotechnical teams.
• Act as PM, Proposal Manager, and Technical Lead to support projects.
