WSP is seeking a High Voltage Transmission Inspector to support field inspections across the Austin, Texas area and surrounding states. The role involves working with engineers and project managers to ensure construction compliance with plans, specifications, and codes, while producing accurate documentation and reports.

Ideal candidates bring extensive inspection experience, licensure, and strong technical writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 9 years of post-education construction inspection experience.
• Essential professional licensure/certification(s).
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Knowledge of construction inspection principles, field practices, codes, and record-keeping.

Responsabilités

• Collect and analyze data from site, plans, blueprints, and reports.
• Perform inspections using survey instruments and test equipment.
• Prepare technical reports with photos, sketches, and calculations.
• Verify load calculations and contract interpretation; resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in risk identification and project coordination across teams.
• Provide guidance and training to junior inspection staff.
• Coordinate with client and contractors for project inspection.
