Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an HV Testing Technician – Level 3 to manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities at substations and PV facilities. The role requires leading testing crews, ensuring safety, and delivering accurate test reports while coordinating with clients and teams.

The candidate will perform extensive fieldwork, travel up to 75% of the time, and uphold SOLV Energy safety standards across multiple environments, including remote sites and industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to travel 75% of time.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• NFPA 70e Safety Training certification.
• Valid Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certification.
• Pass exams on electrical schematics and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise site testing, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting as directed.
• Ensure safety compliance and safe working environment.
• Prepare complete test reports and documentation.
• Train and certify Testing Technician I, II and III staff.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and teammates.
