Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an HV Testing Technician – Level 3 to manage testing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations and PV facilities. The role requires strong safety discipline and the ability to travel up to 75% of the time to various site locations.

You will direct testing and supervision of Technicians, perform energized work in accordance with NFPA 70E, and prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to pursue C-10 license training.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead site testing, maintenance, and repair of substations and PV facilities.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper documentation.
• Direct and supervise Testing Technician I, II, III activities.
• Prepare timely and accurate test reports and test plans.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and teammates.
