Job summary

Harbinger, an American EV company, seeks a Senior HV systems integration engineer to own the interface between power hardware and complete energy systems, including MW scale generators, auxiliary power sources, and electric trucks.

You will lead system bring-up, architecture development, and cross-functional collaboration with electrical, firmware, mechanical, and thermal teams to meet safety standards (IEEE, NERC, UL) and performance goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Electrical systems integration and commissioning.
• Advanced understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts.
• Ability to develop solutions quickly from minimum requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.
• Degreed engineer in EE, applied physics or related field.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, CATIA and Capital.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% worldwide.

Responsibilities

• System commissioning from end to end in test sites or field pilots.
• Develop architecture interfacing high voltage systems with equipment.
• Coordinate interface and communications via CAN, Modbus TCP, I2C, SPI.
• Write Python or C/C++ scripts for bring-up and data logging.
• Diagnose field issues and feed back to design teams.
• Collaborate across electrical, firmware, mechanical and thermal teams.
• Create bring-up and testing manuals for customers and teams.
