Harbinger is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to develop and integrate core electrical systems powering our medium‑duty EVs. You will oversee the entire engineering process from design to validation and production, collaborating across mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams.

The role emphasizes HV/LV architectures, power electronics, and vehicle charging tech, with a strong focus on safety standards and cross‑functional teamwork in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience: proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on EV or automotive electrical systems design, validation, and production.
• Technical skills: deep knowledge of HV/LV architectures, wiring systems, power electronics, and vehicle charging technologies.
• Standards: strong understanding of automotive compliance and safety standards like ISO 26262, FMVSS, and EMC/EMI.
• Software: familiarity with CAN, LIN, Ethernet; MATLAB/Simulink a plus; Capital tools a huge plus.
• Soft skills: exceptional problem‑solving and communication skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Develop and document vehicle electrical architectures, including power distribution and communication networks.
• Component Integration: Source and integrate electrical components and wiring harnesses into vehicle platforms.
• Testing & Validation: Create and execute tests to ensure reliability and manufacturability.
• Troubleshooting: Provide cross‑functional electrical systems support and resolve system issues.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams for seamless integration.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of designs, test results, and system requirements.
