Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to lead design, development and validation of core electrical systems for our commercial EVs. You’ll own architectures, source and integrate components, and drive testing for reliability and manufacturability.

The role requires HV/LV expertise, EV/automotive experience, and collaboration with software, mechanical and manufacturing teams to ensure safe, compliant vehicle integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably EV/automotive design, validation and production.
• Deep knowledge of HV/LV architectures, wiring, power electronics and charging technologies.
• Strong understanding of automotive safety standards (ISO 26262, FMVSS, EMC/EMI).
• Familiarity with CAN/LIN/Ethernet; MATLAB/Simulink a plus; Capital tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and document vehicle electrical architectures including power distribution and communication networks.
• Identify, source and integrate electrical components and wiring harnesses into vehicle platforms.
• Create requirements and test plans; execute tests for reliability and manufacturability.
• Provide cross-functional electrical systems support and troubleshooting across vehicle systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software and manufacturing teams for seamless integration.
• Maintain clear documentation of designs, test results and system requirements.
