WSP Global Inc. is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization (PTE) Lead P&C Technician Field Services in Colorado.

The role leads field operations, performs on-site testing and commissioning of protection and control systems for HV substations, and mentors technicians while maintaining safety and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with engineers and contractors, manage field logistics, and document activities using digital tools.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 11 years of experience in electrical testing, including medium and high voltage components.
• Demonstrated expertise with transmission, generation, or distribution relays and protective schemes.
• Advanced testing of protective relays and circuit breakers.
• Experience with electrical field testing standards (NETA, IEEE, NFPA).
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.

Responsabilidades

• Lead field operations for complex projects with expert technical guidance.
• Perform testing and commissioning of protection and control systems on high voltage substations.
• Mentor technicians and coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and project leadership.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in the field.
• Communicate progress, risks, and technical concerns to clients and project managers.
