Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Protection & Control (P&C) Commissioning Engineer for remote work in the United States, focusing on on-site commissioning of high-voltage substations and integration of protection, control, and communication systems.

You will lead commissioning plans, oversee relay testing, coordinate with project teams, ensure safety compliance, and produce documentation to support energization milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience in protection and control commissioning for high-voltage substations.
• Hands-on experience with protection relays and substation automation systems.
• Strong ability to interpret diagrams and test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site commissioning activities for HV substations, ensuring protection, control and communication systems are tested and energized.
• Coordinate commissioning schedules with project managers, engineering teams and customers.
• Maintain project documentation, verification records, and non-conformance reports while ensuring safety standards.
