Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a High Voltage Substation Inspector to perform field inspections around Reno/Las Vegas, NV, with potential up to 100% travel. You will support engineers and project managers, gather data, and prepare precise documentation to meet design, safety, and sustainability standards.

The role requires strong field experience, ability to travel for extended periods, and coordination across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 9+ years post-education construction inspection experience.
• 5+ years of active field inspection experience with ability to fill daily/weekly reports.
• Valid state driver’s license and knowledge of construction inspection principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections to ensure conformance with plans, specs, and codes.
• Document inspection findings with photos, calculations, and reports.
• Lead inspection tasks and coordinate with project staff and contractors.
