Job summary

Blattner in Avon, Minnesota, is seeking a Senior Field Superintendent to lead self-perform crews and subcontractors on substations and transmission projects up to 345kV. You will manage field costs, schedule, and safety, ensuring daily progress and quality across the site.

Travel is extensive with rotations; you will review bid scopes, coordinate with transmission operators, and coach site teams. Blattner offers competitive pay, a bonus program, per diem, and industry-leading benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading self-perform substations/transmission projects up to 345kV.
• Minimum 5 years supervising field construction crews.
• Strong safety mindset and program implementation experience.
• Ability to review bid packages for completeness and electrical scope.
• Must pass MVR, background, physical, and drug tests.
• Willing to travel 100% and relocate to the jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of self-perform crews and subcontractors on field projects.
• Track and control project costs and schedule at the field level.
• Ensure overall safety of personnel on site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve field issues promptly.
• Provide coaching to Assistant Superintendents and Forepersons.
