Job summary

Blattner is seeking a Substation Construction Supervisor to lead field teams, manage costs and schedules, and ensure top safety standards on site. The role involves coordinating self-perform crews and subcontractors across substations, with travel required to job sites.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in substation construction, safety program implementation, and the ability to review bid packages for accuracy, with willingness to relocate as needed.

Qualifications

• Must supervise self-perform construction crews and subcontractors.
• Strong focus on safety practices and program implementation.
• Ability to review bids for accuracy and electrical scope.
• Ability to relocate and travel 100% to job sites as needed.
• Proven leadership in substation construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing teams of self-perform crews and subcontractors.
• Tracking and controlling costs and schedule at the field level.
• Responsible for overall safety of personnel within the scope of work.
• Troubleshooting and resolving field issues in a timely manner.
• Providing regular coaching and feedback to Assistant Superintendents and Forepersons.
